Braces/Spacers... yeah?!
Question: so im getting spacers tommorow.. ya i have had then before for my expander.. but they didnt hurt that much it just felt like a piece of meat or somthing was stuck in my teeth.. but my friends are telling me it hurts really bad.. does it? and i wont take medicine to help it!... and second does braces hurt.. and what color should i get pink or light blue???

I personally didn't have any problems with my spacers. As a matter of fact I have one in right now with my braces as well. Apparently I'm getting another metal band around my molar on my next apt. The first couple of days its uncomfortable, depending on how tight your teeth are will determine the pressure you feel on your teeth shifting. I'm sure it will be tolerable for you, and if it isn't...you can always take some pain relievers.

I had braces and spacers when I was twelve and the spacers hurt like a mofo. Getting braces was even worse. I couldn't eat for two days my teeth hurt that bad! i don't mean to make you scared but you should def. take asprin or pain killers.

Ok so I got my braces in June. Um they put only 2 spacers for me. Usually people get 8 but that's just me. No they do not hurt AT ALL! You may feel them for the first day or two but then it feels like nothing. Braces don't hurt much. When you first get them it hurts like a b*tch for a week. Take ibuprofien it works wonders.... lol ok so why pick pink OR light blue when you can get both!!! If you want just one, I say take pink now and light blue next time. Oh and by the way, it also only hurts when they tighten the braces, once a month. After about 2-3 months of tightenings you will feel them less and less. Remember to brush and floss. Haha even though I don't floss... lol to hard.... Um if you want some color of braces ideas here are some:

yeah they hurt bad but you get use to them.
It was my experiance that spacers were just annoying, like food stuck in my teeth. As for braces, only for a few days and then every time they expand your wire. Chew sugar free gum with the braces and it help with the pain. :-)
Dont be stubborn, take some ibuprofen cuz its gonna hurt.....been there done that....worst part about getting them braces !!!
