does the procedure need anaesthesia? does it hurt? how long will it take?

my dentist said i have to go to him tomorrow and have them removed since they cant be the type that just dissolves?

Oh, I love these replies that don't know anything. Depending on the extent of surgery, sometimes dentists use silk sutures and these must be removed. It's nothing to worry about at all. Usually, a dental assistant does it as it's very uncomplicated and only takes a couple of minutes. You will not be numbed up and more than likely will not feel much of anything.
