Post Root Canal?
Lost filling and part of tooth. Had root canal in 2 steps. After first part, felt great in 36 hours. Second part was for last canal, B2 I think he called it. Went well, but its been 4 days and I still have discomfort and a wierd numb/swollen feeling on that side of tongue. Its not unbearable and has not gotten worse. He took XRay after canal and said everything looked fine. Could the inside of the tooth still be inflamed from all the work? Should I be worried? There was no infection at the start of the canal nor at the end.

Schedule another appointment to have it checked out again. If he still tells you nothing is wrong and it is still bothering you, get another dentist's opinion. Don't listen to anyone on here telling you not to see a dentist. If it's more than slightly uncomfortable, you should see someone about it.
