I know people with no teeth, no dentures that eat all kinds of food whatever you name it hard or soft. But if your looking for soft foods all canned fruits are mechanical soft, Fish fillets, peas, most hot cereals oatmeal cream of wheat, Stuffing(moist), Some cooked vegtables i.e carrots mashed potatoes, lima beans, stewed tomatoes, cottage cheese, yougurt, refried beans, scrambled eggs, ect.... you can also put any food in a food processor and grind it any food consistency you want chopped, ground, pureed ect....

baby food bananas are the best
ice cream
jello
top ramon
soup

apple sause

pudding , mashed potatoes

Mashed potatoes. Anything that could be put in a blender and pureed.

You'd be amazed at what people with no teeth can eat once their gums have toughened up.
Cooked cereals are good filler foods and easy on the stomach.

Rice Porridge. It is mainly carbohydrate and it is o.k. on the stomach. You can add a little vegetables like diced carrots and spinach and soft meat like fish or very tender chicken for the protein.

Some soups and hot cereals. Also jello, ice cream, pudding, and baby food. Possibly yogurt. Potted meat as well.

When I had my wisdom teeth pulled I ate scrambled eggs, pudding and soup.

Soups and stews
Egg dishes
Puddings
Complete nutritional drinks like Ensure and Boost
Baby food
Flavored oatmeal

Slowly walk up and down the grocery isles and as you look at the products consider if they can be eaten without teeth.

Call a nutritionist at a nursing home and see what kind of ideas they have.
