One of the reasons I am scared of the dentist is because he makes me feel like I am lying to him about how I take care of my teeth, My father Had the same problems He took care of his teeth, But when he was in his 20's got ill, and In a matter of a year had to have all his teeth pulled out because of Decay,Yet he still brushed,When I told him of this and even told him to contact the DOCTOR that Took care of my father, He looked at me like I was pulling this out of my ***.

Well the first thing I will advise you to do is switch dentists immediately. Try 1-800-dentist...they also have a website. I found the greatest dentist through them. Also when you do get a new dentist explain the trouble you had with the old one so this one knows in advance to not question your brushing.
I also had the same problem with my teeth (and yes it seems that most of us that care for our teeth are worse off than those who don't)...Anywho..My dentist recommended that I try the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste and mouthwash, also he pointed out that regular flossing, brushing in a 45 degree angle so that the tooth brush massages the gum line is more effective, brushing for two minutes at least twice a day is poignant. There is a toothbrush sold by dentists call the roto-dent, a bit expensive but is dentist recommended for its flossing and brushing technique.
