How to treat swollen gums?!
Question: I hurt my gums while brushing a couple of days ago. They have remained swollen since. It hurts at times, at times it doesn't. I took 3 pills of an anti-inflammatory over 2 days. is there anything else i can do except wait?

I feel your pain. :(
I had a similar problem after having some traumatic teeth cleaning at the dentist. I was told to use an anti-inflammatory such as aspirin or motrin, and also to rinse with salt water. The aspirin helped, but I'm not sure if the salt water did anything. It might have relieved it temporarily. Still, it took almost a week before my gums stopped swelling.
