Does anyone know any cures for Canker sores or something to help with the pain?

I have had them my whole life and they are so debilitating! I have also tried everything, and the closest thing I found to a miracle drug is triamcinolone dental paste, which is also sold as Kenalog in Orabase, Orabase HCA, Oracort and Oralone. It isn't the same as Colgate Orabase. This stuff doesn't do anything for the pain, but you put it on at night and it SHRINKS those things away in just a few days! I think the trick is to get them right when they first appear. But since I started using this stuff, they have never lasted more than 3 days (and my really really bad ones lasted over 10 days!) If you can't get rid of them any other way you really should try this!
Otherwise, for the pain I use Zilactin-B. It HURTS like the devil when you put it on but them numbs it and creates a protective film that allows you to eat etc.
But the Kenalog in Orabase stuff really works to make them disappear!
