I am so freakin nervous?!
Question: im getting braces 2morrow and i didnt get naything done
hear r a few questions
1. i didnt get my cleaning done , d u have to get it done
2. do they d cleanings at the orthodontist
3. can u take cavities out after you have braces put in (i have like 4 dont ask y)
4. does it really hurt
5. if ur a orthdontist give alt of details

I had braces a few years ago and I don't remember having them properly cleaned or anything lol. If there is going to be a problem with putting them on before you get them cleaned or cavities removed your orthodontist will tell you.
and the braces didn't hurt when I had them put on, sometimes my mouth ached for a day or 2 after I had them tightened at later appointments and it will probably take a few days to get used to them but it's more just the eating side of things that is difficult at 1st but dont worry loads of people have braces and if it was that terrible they wouldn't be so common! lol
don't worry about it cuz it will just make you feel worse about it all!

hah i juss came bakk 4m getting my braces( like 10 in ago)
well it dosnt hurt mayb itll hurt after sum time idk
but i kno ur supposed to have the cavities taken out 1st but im sure doc. will figure it out...
and ur supposed to have had a cleaning in the last 6 mnths..

1)they will clean it before they put them on.
2) no, you have to still go to the dentist.
3) yeah, but you have to get the bracket (the thing on the tooth) off and then got to the dentist, plus if your getting cavities your going to most likely have scarring (big black spots were the bracket was)
4) it hurts for like a week (at tops) and is super annoying at first, then after a week you don't notice it but talk with a lisp for about half a year, but for a year you always will get kanker sores and cut cheeks, then your cheeks harden up and it stops. sometimes after an apointment it hurts, if they tighten it alot.
5) no clue what this questions about.
