Overbite and braces?!

probably, I have the exact same problem and i only have 1 small space in the back of my mouth but I have to get braces to fix the overbite thingy. So I'm pretty sure you will have to
consult with your dentist on this. it does not seem such a big problem-overbite- but if it makes you feel uncomfortable, just get braces for a year, if it makes you feel more confident
My kids' orthodontist would give you braces for that, yes. But on the other hand, he says no one ever really NEEDS braces.
its normal for you to be able to fit your fingernail in between your teeth, but if you can fit more than that you may have an overbite.
the shape of your teeth cannot be fixed so i would not worry about it, later in life if it really bothers you you may consider having veneers placed on your front teeth, only if your dentist thinks it is possible to make the shape better.
you may need braces and its normal nowadays for young adults to get them, we are becoming a very americanised culture that braces are the norm in everyday life. if you do need braces your dentist will let you know and refer you to an orthodontist.
in the mean time i would not worry about it, you have enough on your plate with school, friends and crushes.
