Should i keep it? maybe or maybe not.....?

ok well i got this "sensodyne" toothpaste. its the New Pronamel, for sensitive teeth. i looked on the back and it says dont use longer than 4 weeks. WELLLLLL......ummmmm, why? will it hurt my teeth if i keep using it? what will happen if i do keep using it....? hmmmmmm?

yup i doubled checked the back of the bottle and it says (and i quote) lol.....

"do not use longer than 4 week unless recommended by a dentist or physician"

i dont really wana go to the dentist to ask them...what should i do?

The reason it says that, is the toothpaste can cover up problems with your teeth that need to be addressed.....like a cavity. By continually using it, these problems can progress until you end up with root canal treatment or losing the tooth. If the sensitivity continues or immediately returns after you stop using the toothpaste then you need to get to the dentist to have the reasons checked out. If it's something as simple as having a root exposure, they can let you know and then you can stay on the toothpaste as long as you want to.
