Sounds like you need 2 bridges: one for one missing tooth and one for the 3 missing teeth. I would say a total of 2400-2600 for the porcelain fused metal bridge with one missing tooth.
One single tooth usually cost $800-900.
But probably they have to prepare you the teeth on which the bridge will stay and that means root canals. Thise cost another $700-800.
It's expensive in the states.
I done my dental work in Europe. For a 10 teeth bridge fixed on 4 teeth I gave only $1500. The root canals were free since my dental work was so big.

what happened?

They will most likely charge you for the whole thing. Unless you only want some of it done. A bridge has to go between teeth, they might offer implants. Get an estimate first from a couple different dentists. Some will try to sell you everything under the sun to get it fixed. Others will just do what is necessary so you are healthy.
