It depends on what you mean by "cracked". It also really depends on how damaged the tooth is. If it's just a small chip, it usually gets filled or bonded. If it's larger, it may need a crown. If it's truly damaged beyond repair, you may need it out. This is one only your dentist can answer with a x-ray.
