Hmmm....if the person doing your procedure didn't block your tissues well with the barrier, it's possible some of the whitening solution got on your gums causing the blistering. If you decide to use the home kit, make sure that you don't have any beaching solution on your gums...it will burn. You probably notice the staining more because your teeth are whiter. That is what the home kit is for though.
