as soon as urs braces are off, wear the retainer for 6 months day and night and then 6 months just at night, every night. then reduce the amount to only lke 3 nights a week and then one night a week. you should be able to then not wear it, however you can decide to continue to wear it a night a week for years. your teeth will move slightly, its completely normal - they should move slightly, especially if you are still growing. however, wearing the retainer to help to reduce the amount of movement, and not wearing the retainer at all will mean that it was pointless that u had braces as your teeth would then move back to how they were
