Wisdom Teeth Surgery Question..?
I'm getting my wisdom teeth out in 2 weeks, and they arent putting me asleep with an IV. Im supposed to take this pill an hour before my appointment, and then when i get there I'm to take another one. It's not going to put me to sleep, just going to put me in "La-la Land".
I've heard from some people that this hurts terribly, but you don't remember it after. Others say that it's fine and doesn't hurt at all. I'm a huge baby when it comes to pain and this is really freaking me out. Any experiences with this?

The pill you are taking is to make you very relaxed and not so nervous...We take wisdom teeth out all the time without sedation . this is very normal. If your teeth were a difficult case, you would definately have to be put out. But it sounds like they may be a simple extraction to the oral surgeon...and that is why you are not having general anesthetic....I am a baby too...and my procedure actually went ok....You will be fine
