Flossing problem once braces are off...?!

Question: i get my braces off in about four days but, some people told me that once there braces were off, they would floss and it would leave a gap between there teeth. like, just flossing would actually move there teeth? so they would get freaked out and put there retainers on immediately.

is this something to worry about. could flossing ever permenently create a gap between your teeth once your braces are off?

thanks!

no not permanent, but it will happen. the teeth are weirddddd

naaa, its just a little wire, i've had mine off for a while and even not wearing the retainer during the day and leaving in it during the night won't make them move....

flossing would not move your teeth, not wearing your retainer will move your teeth
Do not worry! Flossing is great for your t eeth!

Not unless you're using some kind of massive floss. That's totally false. There's no way that simply flossing will actually move your teeth.
