If a person brushes in a back and forth method, it cause toothbrush abrasion. this is when a person brushes hard and firmly in the same direction. This casuse a "V" shaped to be notched in the tooth near the gum line.
Tooth brush abrasion also can cause sensitivity in the area. A sensitive toothpaste will help.
