If you do not have any problems with your wisdom teeth, usually they will not need to be extracted.
The reason most people have them pulled is because of complications such as, coming in crooked and causing pain, infection, or decay.
Most dentist's won't fill a wisdom tooth if it is hard to reach and of no use.
If you don't have any issues with them, don't worry! You are one of the lucky one's!! :)

9/10 yes because your mouth will get super sore, go through 4 seconds of pain, or YEARS OF PAIN

I am a dental hygienist and the answer is ... It depends on the way the teeth are erupting. If they are impacted then yes. Your dentist will need to take an xray to see if this is the case. If you don't have your wisdom teeth pulled you can develop jaw pain, headaches, or TMJ. Wisdom teeth also crowd your teeth if they are trying to erupt and you don't have sufficient space for them. Also, wisdom teeth can cause you to have gum disease on your back molars where they are erupting because it is a hard to reach area.
If you do need them out, don't worry... Your oral surgeon or dentist will use IV sedation and you won't feel a thing.
hope this helps

You don't absolutely have to have them out, and most don't. If they are below the surface and not causing trouble you're fine....but when they start to move or come through the surface, you're best bet is to have them out. It can be hard to keep them clean because of positioning, they can cause pain and difficulty with jaw movement too.

actually, most people don't get them pulled out, only if they are hurting them or pushing into your other gum teeth.

cosmic angel

yeah they eventually grow and move and like put pressure on your nerves and stuff. i was getting shooting headaches and earaches. but the surgery is no big deal. not to sound like a druggy or anything, but the experience was actually enjoyable-- missing school and taking the prescription painkillers. i ended up getting dry sockets which made mine hurt really bad a week later. but it was fixed with a simple procedure and addition of more pankillers. that only happens to a small number of people though.
