In Dentistry, what is a 'Fisher-Seal'?!

Question:

In Dentistry, what is a 'Fisher-Seal'?

Answers:

Yes it's a fissure sealant. A fissure sealant is when the fissures of a tooth are filled in to make them less deep so that less material gets trapped in them which in turn makes the tooth more resistant to decay on that face.

It doesn't involve the loss of any dental tissue, the site is merely etched and the cement applied and cured.
