Which dental school in the United States is easiest to get into and why?!

Question: Hmmm....they're all pretty competitive these days. I've hear dentists are med school drop outs, which I suppose was true and still is true to some degree. However, due to lifestyle, potential income, independence (no HMOs), shorter training, it's becoming more and more competitive than medical schools and grades and scores are reflecting that.

Okay having said that 'what are the easiest dental schools to get into'. I only heard through the grapevine and it has no bearing at all:
1) NYU: they accept 250+ (highest of all), but cut 60 after the first year
2) NOVA: i don't know why I just hear it was
3) Boston University: but I hear they average GPA is now 3.5+

The best is to get the guide to dental school admission booklet that has all the demos of all school, even foreign ones in canada and PR. Another really good source of information for predental, predocs, and postdocs is studentdoctors.net. It seriously rocks and a wealth of information about medical, dental, DO, chiro, pharm, OD, etc. fields!

Good Luck and study hard for the DATs.
