Is my tongue supposed to be all nasty and bumpy like this?!
Question: okay well i just noticed the other day, i was looking at the back of my throat and i realized that my tongue has bumps and has like a yellowish tint.
but the thing is, i don't smoke, i don't make out with STD ridden people, or do anything like that.
and i'm a 15 year old girl.
is this normal?!

Nope, you're normal! The bumps are actually taste buds or "papilla" and they are yellow from the bacteria in your mouth. Just be sure to brush your tongue everyday, and not just the tip but the back as well.
BTW, the picture isn't gross and neither is your tongue! :)
you tongue has these bumps, they are called taste buds, the yellowish color could be from build up of bacteria, which is common also, just start brushing your tongue more often, but if you are really concerned see your doctor - thrush also can cause yellowish color of the tongue
I believe the bumps are normal. As for the yellowish color.. thats plaque. You need to brush your tounge with your toothbrush or buy a tongue scraper. Enjoy trying not to gag.
i think you are okay.... but you said you dont make out with std ridden people and the truth is you NEVER know who has an std and who doesnt...
yea, the bumps are normal, just try brushing your tongue and if you already do, just do it longer and make sure you get your whole tongue.
