Will my son have an underbite?!

Question:

Will my son have an underbite?

so my oldest son has a huge underbite. very noticable and it will need to be fixed when he is older.
my little baby who had his two bottom teeth come in a while ago looks like he has an underbite. maybe i'm just thinking too much, but when he smiles, those little sharp teeth are well under his top teethless gums. you can totally tell. is he too young to worry about this or might i have something to think about? when he is one i will take him to a dentist but for now i just want some good, honest, informatable opinions. thanks.

Answers:

Did you mean an overbite, when your upper front teeth cover completely your lower front teeth?

I would worry more about your oldest son. If he is approaching 10 years old, depending on how bad his overbite is, it is best to get treated now with a functional appliance before he becomes older. http://www.studiodentaire.com/en/treatme...

For you one year old, I would not worry about it until he has his adult teeth in front.
