The inside of my mouth and cheeks is sore from the braces i just got, how do i make it feel better?

I know exactly what you're going through!! Use the wax your ortho gave you (but not too much) or if you didn't get any you can buy it at QFC or Bartells or any other drugstore. Warning!! Don't use it too long, and don't plaster it all over your braces! Because as soon as you take it off, it'll be sore again. The best thing to do is wait it out and let your mouth get toughened up. If you have a really painful poking wire, definitely put a bit of wax on that or it'll rip up your cheek, then call the ortho so that you can go in and have them clip off the extra end.
Also you can take Tylenol/Advil/Motrin/Ibuprofen or something like that, to help you out with the pain.
BTW, if you absolutely can't get any wax, chew up some gum and stick it over the spot! Or use a wet piece of cotton.
