See a cosmetic dentist who specializes in veneers. You don't need to spend the money on braces, not to mention the time, if this is a small area between your front teeth. By contouring your two front teeth, your dentist can then place permanent veneers on the teeth which will eliminate the gap and give you a beautiful smile. They last a long time, and look wonderful. It is not painful, but it is expensive, but still not as costly as braces. Get a consultation with a reputable aesthetic dentist and let him/her take xrays, and then follow their recommendation.
