Im interested in getting Crest Whitestrips, but I've heard they cause sensitivity . Can I use anything to numb my teeth or calm them down if it happens? A gel or anything? Thanks.

Also, it's only the front six teeth that are yellowish (goes for bottom as well). I don't know why.. and the very bottom part of my teeth are almost see-through but only if you really look up close. Normal, or...

Thank you to who have answered. I hope the things recommended don't make my teeth even more thinner. Maybe milk is also needed =p

All of these"whitening" products [even the ones from the dentist] can cause sensitivity but it's transient. If you do start getting sensitive teeth, just stop the treatment until they settle down and then begin again. Just DON'T keep on treating them while they are hurting! The use of a fluoride mouthrinse will help too.
