Just got my tooth filled; when I suck on it, it hurts real bad, why?!

Is the reason that this one hurts because it hasn't fully hardened yet?
Does that light they use not harden it all the way?

It is probably nothing, could be because the Novocaine in wearing off and the tooth was worked on recently. You could be aggravating it be touching it. I do the same thing with dental work.
