Question: I have to get braces. I really wanna get the clear kind, but my friend said the metal ones work better and get off earlier.

I wore braces for nearly four years...

For one they show the food thats in your teeth even better than metal ones do.
two, metal ones straighten your teeth quicker,
and three, clearer ones i believe are more expensive
but im not sure
but yeah,
get the metal ones.

They work at basically the same speed. The clear ones will maybe give you a month extra. Me &my friend got braces at the same time (I have clear and she has metal), we both have been making the same progress. Don't be worried about braces, I didnt want them at all first but you see improvement in about 2 weeks. They're not that bad
metal ones (although more painful) do work better.
during the process, you might think it's not worth it.
but trust me, it is.
yea they work faster id go for metal personaly.
i have metal and theyre not that bad. just get metal they dont show the food as much and are less expensive =]
