Do veneers feel different from regular teeth?!
Question: I watch a lot of 10yrs younger and a lot of people get veneers and I was wondering if you could treat them like real teeth. Can they break or fall out or do you get them cleaned and treated like regular teeth? My dad has been really sensitive about his teeth and I think, if veneers are safe and reliable, I could do him this favour to have more confidence in his smile as he is sacrificing a lot by putting me through graduate school.

Yes they feel and are treated like regular teeth. Be aware however that like all dental treatments they have a limited life time before they fail and have to be replaced. This time period varies depending on the type of vaneer so be sure to ask your dentist when you see them.

No they do not feel different.
A lot of people prefer veneers to correct a smile as opposed to dentures or braces. My mom has veneers for her two front teeth and she hasn't had a problem with them. I think she got them over 15 years ago.
There is a potential for them to get damaged, but I don't think anymore than a real tooth. My mom goes to the dentist every 6 months for her regular cleaning...nothing else extra or special.
no they feel like your own teeth.i've had mine now for 16 months and there awesome.very expensive but i love them.i have't had any problems what so ever.my dentist was accually really upset about my wanting to get them my teeth were in excellent shape i had braces as a kid,no cavities,but i wanted them anyways.i didn't like how small my teeth looked and wasn't happy with the color,so yeah i give them two thumbs up!and your very sweet for caring for your father.
