Abscess tooth..?!
Question: I went to the dentist today cause i was feeling alot of pain in my upper molar and they said i had an abscess tooth.
Later im going to the endodontics.. to get a root canal.
Ive had one before and i did feel it a little bit.
Ive never been to this guy.
Im 14 and i was wondering what i should expect.
If they give me the option to go under or just get shots what should i do?

the best thing about your situation is that you're going to an endodontist (they are the best). The next best thing is that is an upper tooth which are usually much easier to numb than lower teeth. If it is hurting when the endodontist is working, be sure to let them know. Oh, and the third best thing, is if it indeed is completely abscessed, that means the tooth is dead and you would likely feel little even if you were not anesthetized at all.
i know its scary but go under seriously its over and done with then
