In need of an dental question?!

Question:

In need of an dental question?

If a dentist puts a crown in your mouth (especially the front tooth) and it dosen't fit and he leaves it like that, can you sue him? even if it was like 6 years ago?

Answers:

The crown should have fit snuggly when placed in. If it wasn't the crown needed to be replaced immediatly because decay can start to progress underneath the crown, which means you would either need a Root Canal Theropy, or have the tooth extracted later on down the track. If the job wasn't done properly i the first place i would imaginge that you could sue for malpractice. But bare in mind that as you get older your gums recide (Shrink down) and this could also be where you problem lies.
