Braces off in 27 days!!!?!
Question: im kinda nervous to get my braces off in 27 days but sooo excited!!! do they hurt getting them off?? how do they do it??- helpp

i have gotten braces twice. from what i remember they hardly hurt at all getting them off, getting them on was painful. You shouldn't be worried at all, u should be more excited. They take the wire out first, then take the brackets off one by one, then take the glue off your teeth, that keep the brackets on. Then they basically clean your teeth. It kinda takes awhile but its worth it in the end.
ill just tell you this now.
your teeth are way stronger than the glue :)
so dont freak when they tug alittle.
They will take it off like a railroad track-it's weird heh, I don't think it hurt for me
but your teeth will feel disgustingly slimey

Btw, wear you retainers-- an don't put them in paper towels or napkins...accidently threw mine away twice :\
I'm actually getting my braces removed tomorrow! I'm also nervous as you are. I remember i had to get one of my brackets removed and replaced and it felt weird, the orthodontist kinda just pulls it off, and then scrapes the glue off your tooth (makes me feel like someone scratching the board and making that terrible screeching noise) Good Luck!
