Ive been wearing a retainer for about 2 months...?
and this white "gunk" always builds up on it - I clean it every day or so, but it doesnt come off entirely - What is the build-up?- How do i get rid of it completely?
Answers:
It's dried saliva. Brush it everyday, and everynow and then soak it in mouth wash. Be sure to prush it off as soon as you take it off, to prevent the saliva from drying. This will keep it clean and prevent any more from building up. As for how to get it off, though, I don't know...have you tried *lightly* scratching at it?
