I have a cold sore in my lower inner lip. what is the best way to cure this?

when ever im just getting a cold sore ill put an ice cube on it. it doesnt feel that great and usually only works when you start to get one-sometimes you can feel them coming on,the ice cube is to freeze the sore,it also brings tears to my eyes,but it works,you can also use denavir,its costly but it works great,good luck.=^oo^=
