Wisdom Teeth, Dentist said they were OK, but I am not sure now.?!

Question: I am 24 and have no health insurance.

about when I was 16, I went to the dentist to have a molar removed, and had some X Rays done before it happened. My dentist, who was a very awesome dentist I had to call 6+ months in advance for, told me that they looked OK at the time, and that I wouldn't have any problems with my Wisdom Teeth. About when I was 21 the bottom ones starting coming in, and they so far have only partially surfaced, but they came in straight without any problems. The top ones are both coming in slanted towards the outside, and haven't surfaced yet, but feel like they are going to. It looks like even though they are slanted they still have room to push out without any problems.

I know I need to have them removed. I just can't afford it. My question is, do you think they will cause me any problems? Lately it hurts when I eat and put pressure on it so I chew on the other side, but other than that, I don't feel any pain.

Find a new dentist, one that isn't so slow you can't get in to see him in 6 months and what if you had an emergency. A dentist that is too busy is not always a good sign.
As for your wisdom teeth they will push their way in by pushing your front teeth and changing your bite (explaining your pressure pain and probably headaches or a tired jaw). You may have noticed your bottom front teeth moving. You won't be able to get a toothbrush back there to clean them well enough, thoughs are my least favorite fillings to place, and will probably end up with periodontal disease. It's best to get wisdom teeth out before age 25, before they become part of the bone. If it's interrupting your lifestyle (you can't eat) I would find a way to get them out, see if your dentist offers a payment plan and be upfront about your situation. Good Luck!

NO! Don't remove them! Trust me, you'll thank me in years to come! LOL! Really, if your dentist said it's OK and there's still room, then don't remove them! Keep them right there! Mine were fine but my ex-orthodontist talked me into removing them and it feels really weird... This void in the back of my mouth! Plus it's way better having them. It's way better to have 32 teeth the way we're supposed to then to have 28! Oh boy, I hope I'm not sounding insane here but anyways, really, just endure the pain for a while and keep them. There are other things for you to worry about in your body aren't there? Really, keep them there and then if something happens like, if your teeth get crooked or if you have any other flaws in your teeth worry about wearing braces and getting a nice smile!
Best wishes and think carefully before doing anything that you might regret later!

No, you don
