What can stop bad breath?

will using warm water with salt in it help stop bad breath. If not what can? Cause my friend has a problem with getting rid of bad breath.

I've had a problem with Bad Breath before. Just trip him over before he gets through the door. Failing that, tell him straight that he's got to stop harassing you.
