NHS Dentist fees help please?!

Question:

NHS Dentist fees help please?

I had some replacement fillings done in March and an extraction. I got an infection and had a course of antibiotics.
I was told the sensitivity i was still suffering with would settle eventually, but after it became obvious that it wasn't going I returned to the dentist and was told "my" dentist had left.
I saw another practitioner there and he gave me more antibiotics and wanted to charge me again for removing the filling and replacing it as he said there must be a little gap causing the sensitivity.
Do I really have to pay again for another dentist at the same practice to make good the mess the first dentist left me with?

Answers:

it is not good conduct from the practice it is not your fault that the dentist has left your filling is cover for the first year so no you should not have to pay again
