Tongue bite woe?
i recently got my last two wisdom teeth pulled out the other day and i had to bite down on gauze pads to stop the bleeding. i knew i bit my tongue and now my tongue is really bothering me. when i twist my tongue around and see if there's anything unusual, i can see in a mirror that the area that was bitten down on shows a different color under the tongue. it sort of looks opaque-ish, not pink how it is suppose to be.
should i call my dentist and tell him about it or should i just leave it and let it take its course?
Answers:
If you are certain it is a bite, leave it alone and don't worry about it - it will be better in 2 weeks or less.
If you are not certain it is a bite, go back to your dentist.
