Hot/Cold pain on teeth....what can I do without seeing a dentist?!

Question:

Hot/Cold pain on teeth....what can I do without seeing a dentist?

I have really bad sensitivity to hot or cold food/drink on both sides of my upper teeth. Yes I am going to see a dentist but in the meantime is there something I can do to help this. Plz don't say Orajel or Sensodyne, I'm trying those but so far nothing. Thanks!

Answers:

I would take motrin or advil to relieve some of the pain and also to calm it down I would put a hot wash-cloth on the side of your mouth and hold it there. Hope your mouth feels better!!
