How long does it take for a nerve in my tooth to heal?!
Question: My front right tooth has been hurting me for over a month now from eating an apple and it has been hurting everyday since then. Sometime the pain isn't that bad but other days it hurts really bad. I just went to the dentist today and they took x-rays but the saw nothing wrong with the tooth but the dentist lady said that it could be the nerve in my tooth acting up or that the tooth is split. I was wondering how long will it take for the nerve to heal before i go back to the dentist.

Doesn't sound like you have a very good dentist, sorry.
If you have an exposed nerve, the enamal of your tooth is worn, or the start of something more serious, get a second opinion, you may need a filling. That won't heal on its own
If its not an exposed nerve you may have senstive teeth and use that kind of tooth paste.
