Anyone gotten their teeth professionally whitened?????
Where you from??? (what state) and how much did it cost???? Was it worth it???? I want to do it cuz the at home kits always hurt my teeth REALLY REALLY bad......

In Texas, it cost anywhere from $200 on up. It can be worth it, but it is sometimes just as painful. The reason it is painful, or causes sensitivity, is because the dentin's pores ( for a simplicity) open up.
If you are getting good results with the home kits, but just don't like the sesitivity, try rinsing afterwords with a fluoride rinse. You can get one at Wal-Mart or somewhere like that. It helps to close the dentin tubes, and strengthen the enamel.
