cuz i really need to know them for later, and i want to be prepared for when i do..please answer?
1. what colors look best?
2.how do they change the wires?
3. how long do they hurt when they change the wire?

Answers:
1. The colors will depend on what kind of braces you get. There are metal, and ceramic (which are clear). One kind of metal uses little rubber o's to hold the wire in and that is where the colors come in. The other kind of metal, uses little doors on the brackets that hold the wire in, so they do not use the little o's, so there wouldn't be any colors to choose from. Most people when they have the o's get their school colors, or colors that go along with holidays that are comming up. Sometimes, they go with the colors they wear most.
2. When they change the wires, they will simply take the old one out, and put a new one in. Again, if you have the o's, they will take all the o's off and then take the wire out. If you have the kind with the doors, they will open the doors, and take the wire out.
3. Usually there is some discomfort, that tylenol, ar advil will take away for about 2-4 days, after they put them on, and usually everytime they change the wire. It helps to eat soft things like pasta, potatos, pudding, yougart and things like that. It's usually not too bad. (I have braces now.)
