NYU-- is that New York University? What city is it in?

$100. for a filling is a good price. Root canal? I can't remember what I paid years ago. Bleaching $400.? A little on the high side. If you call around to enough dentists, you can find prices ranging from $200 to $500. The price you are quoted depends on how hungry the dentist is. The actual price the dentist pays for the kit is much lower; it's a way for him to earn extra cash. $280 for a cleaning is high, also. Most big towns/cities have a dental office which offers great deals to cash patients. Sure, they may be staffed with dentists straight out of dental school, but I've always had good luck at those places. Oh, I was going to say that your best bet for teeth whitening may be to start with Crest Whitestrips. Our family has great success with them... $30 is much more reasonable than even $200. My son did go have his teeth whitened at the dentist with the ZOOM product, and although his teeth looked better on the way out of the office than they did on the way in, they weren't all that white. And I payed $300 for it. We did it at the dentist because we were in a hurry-- he was going somewhere that he wanted to make a good 1st impression and didn't have 2 or 3 weeks to use the in-store strips. So good luck in your quest for affordable, good quality dental care! :)

That depends on which quality your dentist fix to,the price relates to the thing you use.
