Hi! The reason I do NOT whiten teeth during pregnancy is often the gums become swollen and slighly more sensitive than when you are not. The acid etch can make this very uncomfortable and you will be unhappy. If you want to, use a whitening toothpaste now and treat yourself after the baby is here. Some people have no issues, but why take a chance. I just feel a few more months is not a big deal to wait to be sure you donot have sensitivity and any pain. GOOD LUCK with the baby!!!!~M

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries but certain precautions have to be taken. I found the information at http://www.aches.in/toothwhitening.html
