its under my tounge,its sore too!

They are very painful especially there. Your tongue is always moving. I hate to tell you this, but they normally take about 10 days to heal. Rinse with warm salt water as much as possible, and don't rinse that off afterwards..lol. You can get an over the counter paste called Orabase w/ benzocaine. That acts as a band-aid and also numbs it some. It won't stay on long because the mouth is always wet. They are very common and many people get them every month or so. I've had 2 or 3 at one time before. Word of advice.....avoid mustard or acidic things if possible until it heals.
