Can i floss my root canal tooth?!

Can i floss my root canal tooth?

i had a root canal in the middle of march, its not capped yet. is it safe to floss it or can it fall out??

That's a long time to go without a crown. Is the original tooth still there with a filling? If so, flossing should be fine. If you have a temporary crown you need to be very careful. When I had a temporary crown, I flossed daily. Obviously you don't want to pull the floss from both ends to remove it from between the teeth. Pull it out from one side.

Remember: the most important benefit from flossing is not the removal of bits of food, but the massage effect on your gums.
