Any time is a good time to floss but ideally, bedtime is best. You want to get all your daily bacteria and food removed for the night. Also, saliva has buffers in it that rinse the teeth and neutralize acids that eat through enamel. Saliva production slows at night allowing bacteria to "ferment" more while you sleep. Try getting a Reach flosser. It has a long handle and the floss already on little removable tips. It keeps you from wrapping floss around your fingers and sticking all of both of your hands in the back of your mouth. You can floss one handed and spit free! Rinse it well after each use and change tips when they become frayed. Make sure you floss UNDER your gums!!! There are two reasons to floss. Getting between the spaces where the teeth touch each other keeps cavities away but taking the floss UNDER the gums keeps gum disease away. Don't POP the floss in. Ease it in and then move it around in the space. Wrap it around each tooth in a "C" shape and slide up and down along each tooth. Don't worry if they are slightly tender and you bleed some at first. That is how your gums tell your they aren't happy. The more you floss-the less you bleed. Just go under as far as you can without severe pain. If it hurts like a razor--you went too far. You can get under there a good 3 mm with floss and have no pain! Make sure to floss behind your last tooth as well to prevent gum/bone problems. A very common missed area! Kudos to you for caring and asking how to take care of your mouth.

And--only floss the ones you want to keep! ;-)

Im not sure if it matters what time of the day. The best time is when you brush your teeth. Yes it is important to floss your back teeth as well.

just before i brush my teeth the last time before i go to bed

yes it is important to floss all your teeth

Ideally you should floss after every meal to get rid of trapped food and yes you should do your back teeth.

Usually at night before bed. I thin kyou can floss any time but I would tend to believe that at night you are getting any remainder of food out of your teeth before a long sleep. I floss all of my teeth (per dentist instructions) and it is difficult to get way back there! I just take my time and usually do it in bed while watching tv.

At night before going to bed

everyday after you eat and try and floss the back teeth or cavities will grow.

Morning and night, floss all my teeth duh

I floss before i brush, and its usually right as im getting ready to go to bed. I have braces so flossing takes forever, but i do floss the back teeth because i HATE getting cavities filled, and the best way to avoid cavities to have good oral hygiene.
:D

1x in morning; 1x in night

you floss before you brush your teeth because the eww stuff between your teeth then goes into your mouth. brushing gets rid of it once and for all
