A cheap or an expensive toothbrush?!


Question: Do you think an expensive toothbrush has any advantage over a cheap generic one ?
l mean they both do the same job.You can pay as little as 60 cents to $10.

What really matters is the method used when brushing more than the toothbrush. For people with dexterity issues, a bigger handle and/or a power brush is the best option. And as stated earlier, NEVER use anything but a soft bristled brush because it will irritate the gum tissue and may cause the gums to recede.

If you get a really cheap toothbrush the bristles may fall out into your mouth so just go with the midgrade prices as mentioned before.
Also, if you see a toothbrush that looks neat to you and would motivate you to brush as often as you should, then buy it. But don't spend mroe money than you need to.

Go for the mid priced ones.

They all do the same thing. The cheapest not quit as good, won't fit in your hand well, and won't last as long. The highest priced just a waste of money.

My dentist has always told me that it's not the price so much as the softness. Never use a hard bristled brush, the softer the better.
