Question: My teeth arent bad, but im thinking of just skipping the whole braces thing (they suck) and taking the easy way with veneers. Thing is, I dont care enough to pay huge sums of money, more of a convenience thing, really. Anyone familiar with average costs?

It depends on where you get it done, but average cost is about $1,000 a tooth.
Veneers aren't necessarily the easy way. They have to grind your teeth down and they will be permanently altered so that you will have to wear veneers forever. Also, they usually only last about 10 years and then you'll hafta shell out another 8k or so to get them redone. I'd just get braces if I were you. Have you ever considered lingual braces?
here in oz dentist are absolute rip off merchants i would not even have clue but it would not be cheep and for something like that you could be waiting 7-10 years to get done unless you can afford private health insurance, but i also think the first answer is in the right ball pack as guessing goes
