Speeding up the the process of braces?!
Question: My orthodontist told me i should have my braces on for about 24 months. I heard that if you're teeth move quickly, you can get your braces taken off sooner. So my question is, if there are any way to speed up the process and have them taken off sooner? If so, what?
Thanks!

well if your orthodontist tells u to wear these small rubberbands on some of the brackets, at night i would wear two at once and that seemed to speed up the process. o and also dont miss any appointments.
you dont want them off too soon i had braces on my bottom teeth 15 yrs ago for 6 mo they took them off early my teeth went back to where they was at .. now i have them on both top and bottom they should of done the 1st time have had them for 5 mo now and will have another year this time they will not take off til teeth are stable so dont rush things , trust me you dont want braces when you are older it hurts 10 times worse .......good luck with your braces
Get them when you are younger, bone formation is faster
Im not sure but I dont think you should try to speed it up, they might get messed up even more. If your teeth move fast then great!! but if they dont then dont worry let them take their time. Also are you getting braces on the inside of your teeth?? If not, then you shouldnt have a lisp at all cuz i sure didnt when i got my braces. If you're getting lingual braces though then thats a whole another story
