If a pregnat woman is surferen from Toothache. Is it good for her to remove that!

Question:

If a pregnat woman is surferen from Toothache. Is it good for her to remove that teeth.?

Answers:

I would hope there is more wrong with the tooth than just that it hurts before she took that step. If you mean she has an abscess or some such problem and that the tooth NEEDS to come out, she should clear it with her obstetrician first, but normally it is OK to have an extraction done.

In fact, if there is an infection connected with the bad tooth, it is important that she have it done in order to avoid the infection spreading to her heart or elsewhere in the system. Obviously, a very ill pregnant woman is not going to have as healthy a baby as a healthy woman.

Unfortunately, many women suffer dental problems during pregnancy because their bodies are diverting the calcium and other nutrients needed for strong teeth to the developing baby. That is why it is so important for them to get lots of calcium and take a prenatal multivitamin. It's not just for the baby's health...but theirs as well.
